Our school recently held a three-day Chinese Culture Week, immersing students in Chinese cultural traditions through the themes of Chinese food and traditional crafts. Skilled professionals, including a pastry chef and masters of embroidery, tie-making, and carving, were invited to demonstrate their craft and share their experiences. The school hall was transformed into a traditional Chinese food court, allowing lower primary students to appreciate the unique characteristics of Chinese cuisine. Upper primary students had hands-on experiences creating traditional crafts and became ambassadors for promoting traditional craftsmanship. This event emphasized the value of Chinese traditional crafts and culture, encouraging students to preserve and inherit these traditions.
